Step #1:
After you have placed your order for one of our reseller hosting packages, you will receive our generic welcoming letter with all the
information you need to access and manage your hosting account. Within this information you will see how to access your control panel. In your control panel you will find a Reseller's Toolbox Icon. This is where all the reseller's information is located.
We ask that you immediatly log into your account's control panel and take a look at all the features and options.
DO NOT TEST THE ADD DOMAIN FEATURE!!!! The feature is in perfect working order and works the same as what you
went through ordering your account, so do not try it out. If you do you will be charged for the account you ordered.
Take a look at the Billing History. This will give you up to the minute billing information. You can even view and print invoices.
Step #2:
Every reseller account can have their own name servers for $5.00 a month. If you don't want this feature, skip to Step #3, otherwise keep reading. If you want to include Virtual Name Servers, you should get that started right away. Simply click on the Upgrade CP icon, and order the Name Server Feature. this will create an icon in your account immediatly called: Name Server Manger.
Click on the new icon, You will be asked to click on the install button to make the system create your very own Virtual Name Servers.
You will be required to register your new name servers with the registra that registered your domain name. There is NO REGISTRATION FEE involved when
registering your name servers. You will have to send in 2 forms, 1 for each name server.
You will not be able to have any domains point to your new name servers until you receive confirmation of the registration, including your own domain.
What this means is that your domain will have Site-Host as the name servers, and you can change this immediatly once you receive confirmation of
your registration. For new accounts (your customers) when ordering, select that you will handle the registration and send in the registrations
with Site-Host as the name servers. Again you can change this when you get confirmation. Once you get confirmation you can start placing
orders with us sending the submissions automatically with your name servers populating those parts of the request form.
Step #3:
To set up a new account, simply go to your control panel, click on the "Add Domain" button and you will be asked if this is a new account or a parked domain for an existing account.
Based on your response you will get the appropriate forms. Remeber when asked for a user name, use the first 8 letters of the domain name.
If the domain name is less then 8 letters, then use all the leters of the domain but not including the .com or any other extension.
For Example: Your domain name is websiteshops.com, then your user name should be: websites. If your domain name is fred.com then your
user name should be: fred
Understand? If not visit the reseller tools in your control panel for help PRIOR TO setting up the account. Do not assume that any user name will do, or something easy to remember will be fine, because we will only
accept the first 8 letters or part there of If the domain has less than 8 letters. So if your domain name is: thisis2tough.com
DO NOT use: tough or 2tough or anything else but: thisis2t
Failure to comply with this policy will result in a manditory $25 fee and require you to re-set-up your account, so
please don't do it.
Step #4:
In your control panel, if it was a new account domain, you should now see the name of the additional domain you have added.
You will not see parked domains. Click on the name to customize your control panel
for this customer and all your future customers. this means you only have to do this once... NOT ONCE FOR EACH CUSTOMER!
Step #5:
That's it.... START SELLING NEW ACCOUNTS AND MAKE MONEY!!!!
